CPD for Primary Music Teachers and Practitioners
In response to consultation with Head Teachers and Primary Music practitioners across the region, our core CPD continues to evolve. The 2 and 3 session format of this academic year’s CPD offers opportunities for delegates to be presented with materials and resources which can be taken away, used in your setting, then extended and supplemented as appropriate.
Built into the ‘Singing for the Terrified’ sessions are opportunities for delegates to have small group or individual coaching to develop their own vocal skills.
All workshops will be led by highly skilled music specialists and classroom practitioners from Bolton Music Service and our partners. The sessions are suitable for all classroom teachers and practitioners, regardless of knowledge or experience.
Any aspect of the CPD programme can be developed further in your school or setting by requesting a support visit from a specialist teacher from Bolton Music Service.
On offer this year are:
•2 x Primary Music Co-ordinator network meetings, ‘Resources, Resources, Resources’
•3 x Core CPD sessions – ‘Singing for the Terrified’, ‘Laying Musical Foundations’ and ‘iPad/Garage Band’
All Bolton Music Service CPD sessions will take place at Bolton Music Centre, New York, Bolton, BL3 4NG. However, a separate arrangement to deliver CPD in your school or setting can be organised.
