The Bridgewater Hall is Manchester's international concert venue, built to give the best possible space for music. The Hall hosts over 250 performances a year including classical music, rock, pop, jazz, world music and much more.

The Hall is home to three resident orchestras: the Hallé, the BBC Philharmonic and Manchester Camerata. The Hall also programmes its own classical music season, the International Concert Series, and works with external promoters to provide a vast range of music programming in Manchester.

Bridgewater for All is the Learning and Participation programme at The Bridgewater Hall. We provide opportunities for schools, families, adults and communities to get involved with the work of the hall. Whether you're taking your first steps into the world of music or a you’re professional looking for new ideas, our programme of projects, events and performances can offer something for you.

Be Hear Now half term musical discovery sessions for young people with special educational needs and their families. Every half term we invite special families to hear professional musicians and create their own music with an expert facilitator.

A Little Bite Music free foyer concerts on Friday lunchtimes from May to September, presenting a wide range of classical, contemporary and world music. Pop in on your day off, in your lunch break or with pre-school children to enjoy the informal atmosphere and diversity of sounds.

Tours and workshops book a visit for your school or group to explore the building, from the magnificent auditorium and backstage areas to the weird undercroft, where the whole building is balanced on giant springs to absorb the sounds of the city outside. A great fit for schools studying music, materials or sounds.

Performance opportunities Bridgewater Introducing invites emerging musicians to perform in our foyers at certain times of year. If your senior ensemble is ready to share their music, get in touch to see when the next dates are available.

Projects every term we run a project for primary schools, with one or two secondary projects each year as well. Most of these opportunities are fully funded and open to schools across Greater Manchester. Take a look at our website to see what’s coming up and register interest.
