Singing in the Classroom has three courses each year:

HOW TO DEVELOP CHILDREN’S VOCAL TECHNIQUE – Autumn Term: Tuesday 9th November 2021, 5-7pm

DEVELOPING MUSICALITY THROUGH SINGING – Spring Term: Thursday 10th February 2022, 5-7pm

TOTAL VOCALS KS2 – Summer Term: Tuesday 21st June 2022, 5-7pm

Vocal Vision Group

Our Vocal Vision Group is a team of vocal and choral specialists taken from all local music services in the Hub. Our specialists meet every half term to monitor the Hub Vocal Strategy and to plan and deliver a very rich programme of vocal projects for the Greater Manchester region. We draw on the vocal expertise of our Hub partner organisations and we attract key national and international musicians to work with our teachers and our young people.

First Access Forum

Our First Access Forum is a team of instrumental and vocal teachers, taken from all local music services, specialising in whole class instrumental tuition (Wider Opportunities). Our specialists meet every half term to draw together the best practice in whole class teaching, to evaluate new strategies (national and local) in this area of music teaching and to create new resources and guidance for teachers across the region.

Curriculum Development Group

Our Curriculum Development Group is a network of teachers for all the music services in the Hub specialising in the delivery of and support for music in the school curriculum. This group manages training events and creates resources for schools which can be access by all teachers across the Greater Manchester region.
