The Swan Street Collective

Founded in 2016, The Swan Street Collective is a high quality progression-focused ensemble for young people living with special education needs and movement difficulties who have an aptitude and enthusiasm for music. It marks a major collaboration between the Greater Manchester Music Education Hub, Brighter Sound and Music Unlimited to offer out-of-school activity leading to public performance.

Membership Information:  The Swan Street Collective meets twice a year in Spring and Summer at the “Band on the Wall” venue in Manchester. Access is via local music service referral for those aged between 13 and 25. There is no fee for membership.
