Music opportunities for your child

Music opportunities are open to all children, whatever their background or current circumstances. We believe that music can make a very positive impact in the lives of all children. The information on this page will help you to find out about musical tuition and ensembles, opportunities to perform and support provided through bursaries and remissions. You will find a wide range of tuition and local ensembles provided in each area of the Music Hub, and in addition we also have five regional ensembles. Our Greater Manchester and Blackburn with Darwen ensembles enable your child to work alongside professional musicians and other young people in the region. The regional ensembles provide an excellent progression route for the young people we work with.
